Hi, and welcome to Two Dog Organic Nursery, the home of Year-Round Certified Organic Veggie Plants.. That’s us, Jo Anne and Alejandro Trigo, with our two “boys,” Jake and Lalo, who played a major role in getting this Nursery off the ground . . . literally! After adopting them from the South Los Angeles Shelter (where they were cell-mates), they immediately proceeded to destroy our entire back yard. This led us to doing our own gardening in the fabulous EarthBoxes . . . up on tables, where they couldn’t “explore.”

One thing led to another, and soon we were filling up table after table with organic seedlings, obtaining our Nursery License, joining the Organics Program of the State of California, having Agriculture Department Inspections (who knew??) and seeking out Farmers Markets to join. It’s a longer story than that, but essentially, it’s how we started and how “Two Dog” got its name!

Our mission is to help folks enjoy the many benefits of urban farming – whether in the ground, in containers, big plots or small pots. To nurture, harvest, and consume your own Organic Produce is a thrill, and we’re here to help.

Our plants are grown in roomy 3½” pots, and are fully hardened off and ready to plant out in your garden. They’re all lovingly grown from only USDA-Certified Organic seeds, in OMRI-Listed soils, with OMRI-Listed organic worm castings and organic fertilizers. For your convenience, we also sell all these great growing products.
