A Note About Shipping Costs

Dear Customers,

Due to a nearly three-fold increase in Priority Mail shipping prices, we are no longer shipping our live plants outside of So. California. Orders within So. California can travel by Fed Ex Ground and arrive in one day, so we will continue with those. If you live in the greater Los Angeles area, you may place your order by phone, e-mail, or simply by using PayPal, and then arrange a pick-up either from one of our weekend Farmers Markets or at our Home Nursery.

We are still shipping products and books anywhere in the U.S. The prices for Flat Rate Priority shipping have also increased to $5.20, $10.95 and $14.94 for Small, Medium and Large Boxes, respectively. If we can ascertain a lower rate with another carrier, we will let you know. A minimum handling fee of $3.00 will be added to each order.

We will provide the total cost for shipping your order within 24-48 hours of receiving it. If you prefer not to pay shipping through PayPal, we can hold your order until receipt of your check.

If you absolutely must have plants shipped out of state, please call Jo Anne @ 323-422-3835 to discuss it. But please be prepared – as an example, 3 tomato plants to Illinois last Summer cost $21.20; that same order this year was more than $60.00.
